In order to join Fortitude as a Trader, an applicant needs to go through a 3 stage selection process:

Stage 1: 30-min written test and demo trading test. Candidates are required to do a minimum of 3 demo trades within 1 week and submit to the HR Manager via WhatsApp or Skype.
Stage 2: Shortlisted candidates will get selected to become Fortitude’s Trainee Trader and take part in a Live Trading Test using their own trading account and own money with a minimum fund size of 300 USD.
Stage 3: After passing the Live Trading Test, a Trainee Trader will be promoted to Junior Trader and receive funds from the company to trade. Junior traders will go through a 3-month probation and get promoted to become Senior Traders.

Do I need to find my own investors when I join fortitude as Junior Trader?

No, you do not have to find any investors when you join Fortitude as a Junior Trader. You will focus on analysing the markets and executing the trades.

Is Fortitude making money by asking candidates to take part in the Live Trading Test?

Yes, Fortitude would like to declare that we are making money by asking candidates to take part in the live trading test. We are currently working with brokers who are willing to sponsor candidates who are participating in the live trading test for the $988 USD hedge fund entry course

Can I use my own broker to take part in the Live Trading Test in order to become a Junior Trader?

If you are an experienced trader with at least 2 years of positive track record, you do not have to take part in the live trading test. You can submit your trading statements to us if you are selected for the interview and we will consider your application on a case-by-case basis.

However, if you are new to trading or already started trading but not yet profitable, you are required to take part in the live trading test in order to become a junior trader and you are not allowed to use your own preferred broker.

I am new to trading and do not have any experience. Will I still be able to join Fortitude as Junior Trader?

Yes, you may apply as a Junior Trader. If we think that you are a good fit, training will be provided for you to transit from trainee trader to junior trader.

If I am a foreigner, are you able to help me to apply for an Employment Pass?

Yes, we can help you to apply for an Employment Pass only when you have become a Senior trader that receives a basic pay + Profit sharing.

Am I allowed to withdraw the funds after I complete the live trading test?

Yes, you are allowed to withdraw your funds after the test or keep it for your personal trading. As the account is under your personal name, it’s up to you.

What will happen after I passed the live trading test? Can I keep the profits I made?

After you have passed this live trading test, you will be able to keep all the profits that you have made from the live trading test(stage 2 selection process) and at the same time you will get promoted from trainee trader to junior trader and we will start to give you funds to trade.

Is Fortitude regulated and what is its business model?

Fortitude is currently not yet regulated. It currently uses an external asset manager model. It currently taps into the licenses of banks and brokers. Investors will open a trading account with regulated banks or brokers and Fortitude will sign a power of attorney form that gives us the permission to manage investors funds. https://fortitude-funds.com/about-us/
